‘Playing with the material, bringing out the form, giving it volume and movement until it takes on its own expression.
I love the moment when the kneaded, modelled, tortured and caressed material acquires life and communicates emotion.

When my hands twist the wire, the mesh, my sculptures find balance and invite imbalance, lightness and transparency.
But when my hands plunge into the clay, it's the experience of touch, of contact, of physical sensations.

Mineral or vegetal, metallic at times, inert or alive, the materials I work with take me into their own universe.
I let myself be transported, moved, as on my travels, sure of being in a space of freedom’.
